Dublin, Ireland: Unraveling the Knot was conducted as week long teen workshops, drop in library workshops and as part of the Dublin Maker Festival.
Unraveling the Knot workshops were part of the Teen Summer Workshops at the Chester Beatty Library on July 17th, 19th, and 21st, 2017. Youth workshops were listed here. Workshops introduced youth to Japanese and Celtic knot cording as they explore designing knots using physical materials and circuitry. A video of the project journey can be seen here.

San Jose, California, USA: Unraveling the Knot workshops were conducted in Alum Rock, Downtown San Jose, and Japantown San Jose, California in the Fall of 2017.
Viva CalleSJ, Sept 17th, 2017. This workshop invited the public to create Celtic and Japanese pipe cleaner knots with bells to add to their bikes or walking gear. It was conducted with youth assistants from the Alum Rock Educational Foundation.
Japanese Handicraft Festival, San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, This workshop explored making Japanese and Celtic knots using pipe cleaners and Japanese Mizuhiki cording. October 8th, 2017.
Teen 3D printing workshop at Dr, Roberto Cruz Library, Alum Rock, San Jose. In this workshop teens will be exploring creative knot design using CAD tools and 3D printing. October 23rd, 2:30pm, 2017.
